More like a boutique hotel, the Vestal House at Tabeguache Park is a cozy comfortable bed and breakfast in the heart of Nucla Colorado.
ENJOY A DELICIOUS BREAKFAST at The Beehive COMMON AREA
Also known as the kitchen/ common area, the Beehive is open to guests anytime. Guests are welcome to help themselves to snacks and drinks and to browse through our collection of books, magazines, and literature. Breakfast is in the Beehive (kitchen) is included and is at your leisure. Hearty helpings, fruit, yogurt, cereals and more will greet you each morning. Local roasted and ground coffee along with single cups and tea are a great start to your day!
Two fully equipped RV spots with water, sewer and electric are in the shadiest areas of the property.
Four private rooms each with private bathrooms and a rustic farmhouse common kitchen is fully equipped for guest use.
A patio with tables and a BBQ grill for guest use is surrounded by a beautiful yard and heirloom flowers.

The dark green accent wall and log furniture evoke the nostalgia of being outdoors. The touches of brass and the shotgun shell hardware remind us of grandpa’s hunting cabin. Enjoy many of our favorite and memorable wildlife photos as you relax in the Lodge Room.

URAVAN
Buried on the hill under tons of rock our beloved town lies. Through our loving memories will the town stay alive.

Gray, metal and industrial accents remind us of the Joe Jr. mill in Uravan. The pops of yellow bring back memories of the “yellowcake” that was produced there.
The Uravan Rooms is a handicapped friendly room.

VISIONARIES
The pioneers who hand dug the 18-mile Highline canal from the San Miguel River to Nucla on Tabeguache Park were visionaries in the true sense of the word.

The Colorado Cooperative Company spent nine years and dug (mostly by hand) 18 miles of ditch to deliver water from the San Miguel River to Nucla on Tabeguache Park. The bright vintage feel of the Visionaries room reminds us of days gone by and the accent colors of blue and gold bring us back to our youth with the local school colors.

Tabeguache
The place where the snow melts first. The Ute Indians proclaimed this area, "The Sunny Side of the Hill."

The Tabeguache band of the Ute Indians proclaimed this land “The place where the snow melts first”. Tabeguache Park boasts a mild climate perfect for agriculture. Southwestern flair and pops of turquoise and orange mesmerize our imagination of the tribes of long ago that wandered this land.

The LINCOLN ROOM
FULL BED named after Lincoln Vestal, a true entrepreneur, who had not only a Ford Dealership but an electric light factory, sold furniture, rugs and curtains. A “leading light in the Nucla community” this room is dedicated to his journey.

The FORD ROOM
QUEEN BED this room is dedicated to the Ford automobile. The Vestal and Tetzel Ford dealership was the center of many adventures of Lincoln including ending upside down in the San Miguel River and a great race down Main Street against Dodge. No proof has been found but the old timers say that Ford won the race!
